Up and down and around she goes.
So you have made lot's of progress you don't reflect on the past as much as you did, and when you do think about it it's not as painful as it once was but you just want that pain to be gone right? and why can't you just snap your fingers or pray away the sting in your heart?.
The reason is that you are not completely free and healed but you are on your way there that's for sure. You might be wondering why it's taking so long and you may even become frustrated with yourself for not bouncing back the way you want to but it's going to be ok.
The thing that's keeping you from becoming fully healed is that when you reflect on your past hurt you somehow are making yourself believe that this is something you deserve, the person that hurt you was somehow right to do it. Now do you believe that in your conscious mind?, does this sound like you see yourself as not deserving of being treated the way you wish to be treated?, has this person made you feel like that or that you need to drop your expectations of those you think could be a potential partner?.
What would happen if you kept your expectations up and accepted that if things didn't work out with someone was because it was in your best interest could brush it off and move on and never look back because you trust in the universe and all things happen for the best? and only move forward from there for your greatest good?.
what if everything you've every heard or read about this kind of stuff was in fact true? all those people who went through something similar to you and those people moved on and lived happily ever after? what if you believed in magic?
Your a catch! do you not believe that about yourself? do you really think if the one person from the past for whatever reason does not return that happiness is gone? forever?
.
Maybe it's time to stop looking at your past and playing the same tape in your mind that's been on repeat for too long now, stop even thinking or trying to look into the future. For now take a look in the mirror and ask yourself what do you believe to be the truth about you? what is it that you know about yourself for sure? and how do you feel about yourself are you feeling there's something wrong with you? that somehow others are more deserving that you are? you have not earned the right to be happy?. These are all negative and intrusive thoughts, when was the last time you realized how badly you talk to yourself, try to prove yourself worthy by tolerating what you know you shouldn't ? and if you did make a Boo Boo do you not deserve to be forgiven?.
